For mounting to a standard square swivel with 4 holes, this seat requires a reinforcing plate, which can be purchased separately under part 57005. The TEMPRESS Elite helm high-back seat is easy to install, accepting most 8-bolt hole aluminum slides or any 5" x 5" mounting system. It matches the TEMPRESS NaviStyle, Guide Casting, and 48" Bench boat seats and is proudly made in the USA. The TEMPRESS non-folding Captain seat is ABYC H-31 Compliant, ensuring it exceeds the highest standards for safety in boating. The Elite helm seat frame is rotationally molded in polyethylene, making it corrosion-proof and impact-tested. The TEMPRESS Elite boat seats include 8 stainless steel 1/4" - 20 x 5/8" mounting bolts with 180 degrees of Loctite applied for added security. There are 8 embedded threaded inserts in the base to accommodate multiple mounting options. A bolt hole pattern of 5" x 5" can be used with a required reinforcement plate #57005, or the seats can be ideally mounted using a rectangular full-length aluminum slide system, which does not require an additional reinforcement plate.
